Size is approximately 38 / 40 short. It was made in 1963 for an Officer by an excellent tailor, Conway Williams of 48 Brook St, London W1. This is a rare opportunity to own a classic 1960s tweed suit with all the desirable features such as. Slight padding to the shoulders, giving a very soft and tailored contour. Six-buttoned waistcoat with four pockets. Pleated trousers with turn ups, high waist and button fly. This suit is in very good, ready to wear condition. There are some minor signs of use: a few spots, slight discoloration to the lining of the trousers, and some (professionally) re-stitched areas in the lining. Structurally, the suit is in excellent condition! As this is bespoke made, there are no size labels, but it would fit a normally-built gentleman, approximately 5 ft 6″ to 5 ft 8″ tall, with a 38″-40″ chest and a 32″-33″ waist.
