I have a second of this shirt for myself and tag reads L. Comparing the two this one must have originally been size XL. You have to remember that vintage sizes are much smaller today than they were 30 years ago. Shirt measures 20 inches from armpit to armpit and measures 28 inches long from back of neck to bottom of shirt.
