Pit to pit, laying flat. On the back of the shirt, the bottom of the collar to the hem, laying flat. Top of the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff, laying flat. Top of the shoulder seam to the top of the opposite shoulder seam, laying flat. How measurements are taken on pants: Waist. With the pants buttoned and lying flat, and the waistband pulled taut and parallel , measure from one edge of the waistband to the other. With the pants buttoned and lying flat, and the waistband pulled taut, measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waist band.
