Flat lay buttoned up pit to pit is 21. This Jacket might suit a medium or small. The original owner was born in 1930 and started working in mid 40s. He worked for the White Lead Mills. I have other jackets from the mine that helped me to date this. The mine loaded processed and unprocessed ore to the trains. It has definite signs of authentic wear. And chemical or bleaching on it. It is in remarkable condition. Tough enough to still be worn. It has single inline stitching and metal buttons. Several holes but it is denim and they don’t seem to be expanding. It is heavy cotton denim material. This is great for wear or display or for reference archive. Actual age unknown but it is clear that it is very early.
