For sale here is a very smart 1940’s bespoke grey suit in a light wool, typical period cut and hand finished, no label unfortunately but the other suits from this wardrobe were all made between 1940 and’49 by quality UK or American tailors. Sleeve – 23.5. Trousers – 33 3 x 31 with turn ups. Trouser sizing key – waist spare at waist x length spare at hem. Good, the whole suit is slightly yellowed as is typical of a lighter cloth of this age which isn’t a major issue as its even. The jacket does have a mark on the front which may dry clean off but be careful not to make it worse by creating a white spot. The mark on the trousers is probably not going to come out.
