Mens Vintage 1940s Green B9 Cold Weather Parka Talon Large 42 XR 8790. Vintage, WW2-era B-9 parka. We believe this to be a 1940s. Copy of the original military parka. A heavy-duty cotton twill shell, quilted nylon lining and fur lined hood. Addition, there are four large pockets and a throat latch which is also lined with fur to keep you as warm as possible. This jacket also retains its original Talon zip. Measures around a 42 chest, as original label. Ee below for specific item measurements. The elasticated cuffs are heavily worn and there is a small tear on the left sleeve. There is also some very light fraying around the lower sleeves and a few, little nicks in the cotton. In addition, it looks as though some stitching has been removed from the sleeves and the left side of the hood but the marks do not stand out too much. Marks or Stains – There are a handful of minor marks on the. And sleeves but no major staining. Please see images for details. Fastenings – Talon zip, buttons and hood. The zip is damaged at the bottom and needs to be re-sewn into the jacket but does still work. Fastenings are present and working. Pockets – 2 side / 2 chest. Lining – Some staining and discolouration, as well as a small tear on the lower right side. The fur is a little bit bare in places but is holding up well, considering the age of the jacket.
