Mens 1960s Vintage Grenfell Fabric Jacket UK Size Small. This is a real vintage gem, a 1960s example of a mens outer jacket made by Grenfell. Originally started in 1923 the Grenfell brand evolved out of the development of its namesake wonder-fabric, created specifically to meet the outerwear needs of British pioneer, philanthropist and missionary doctor, Sir Wilfred Grenfell. In 1958, Grenfell was awarded a Royal Warrant for supplying their clothing to the Royal household. It is a simple design with four front buttons and two front pockets. Lined in a fabulous green striped silky fabric. In very good condition. Material – 67% terylene 33% cotton. Brand – Grenfell (Ridleys). Condition – Very good vintage condition.
