This piece should be in a museum – not my closet. One of the original fleece pieces Patagonia made in the 1970s. This one is in good shape for being 40+ years old — but shows signs of use. Fabric has significant piling and some fraying on the outside face fabric, a dime-size hole in right elbow, permanent indentation and marks in the fabric around front and back hem from climbing harness. All of this is to say it has tons of character and shows evidence of being used for its intendend purpose. Still functions as designed, or would make a wonderful vintage piece as part of a collection as a testament to the history of the Patagonia brand. From a smoke and pet-free home.
