Extremly Rare & HTF Authentic Vintage 1992 Alice In Chains “Wonderland” Tee Shirt. By Chaser, it features artist Jesse Higman Original Graphic Design. Although AIC had this design in both men & women styles as band merch, it is almost impossible to find an original. According to the artist Jesse Higman, the graphic image featured in listing was the 1st design he ever created for AIC. Layne Staley was impressed by the designs Jesse made on his own leather jackets as he would see Jesse wearing at various shows. After Layne kept seeing Jesse wearing some of his own designs, Layne approached Jesse & persuaded him into designing something for AIC. A week after delivering an illustration of the exact design featured in this listing, the image was printed on t-shirts & was painted as a stage backdrop for Alice In Chain’s 1992 tour. Jesse went on to create many more original graphic designs for AIC. However, both the women & men t-shirts with the graphic design in this listing are easily the most special & sought after. Design features full front large white graphic of iconic Alice In Wonderland & the Cheshire Cat on a black background. Large band logo covers whole bottom right of tee. Back is solid black. Ringer Style SS Shirt is 100% Rayon with white ribbed fabric collar & sleeves. Shirt is fitted & slimming. The Rayon material is extremely comfortable & cooling in the summer especially. Bottom edge, arms, shoulder & neckline feature an exposed white stitch. Women’s US Size Small. Measurements: Armpit/Armpit-15″; Length-23 1/2″. Fit is closer to XS than Small but due to the flexibility & stretch of Rayon, it easily fits a size Small. It was designed as a Women’s Style but either could wear. Excellent-Very Good Vintage Pre-owned condition. No stains, holes, excessive fading or wear. Graphic is not peeling or cracking except for a small area under the right sleeve. It is hidden from view under right arm while wearing. Slight minimal discoloration of collar & sleeves noted. However, this is not noticeable. Has regular mininal wear from normal use & washing. Always hand washed & hung to air dry. Along the bottom, there are a couple of places where the exposed stitch has pulled loose. It may be trimmed away without damaging appearance of tee. Considering the age of the shirt, these are minor issues. If you have any questions, just ask. Comes from smoke free home.
