Men’s Authentic Camel Hair Polo Coat, for Malcolm Kenneth New York, Excellent Condition, Size 40R. This coat is a real gem, an authentic made in USA polo coat, cut in soft Mongolian camel hair with all the requisite features; a generous double-breasted front, peak lapels, framed pockets, raised seams, top-stitching, turn-back cuffs and a belted back. The brand is Malcolm Kenneth New York. The only noticeable mark on the coat is a small smudge of white paint on one cuff, see corresponding photo. The coat also smells a little musty, as vintage coats can do, so could use a dry-clean. Otherwise it’s in excellent condition. Note that the cut is generous in both the body and the sleeve; it’s intended to fit a size 40R with a suit jacket or sports jacket underneath. However, I’ve just bought a new overcoat so have decided to part with it. It’s a lovely piece, looking for a good home. Measurement in inches (with the jacket laid flat and buttoned). Pit to pit across the front: 23. Waist across the middle button: 22. Sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff: 26. Jacket length from collar to hem down the centre-back: 46. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the shoulder blades: 18. Please check the measurements carefully against a jacket that fits you well. Any questions, just drop me a message.
