The box had been stored since the 1950s. The “newest” thing in the box was a uniform dated 1951. There were 4 pair of wonderful vintage Levi’s 501 jeans in the bottom of the box! (See my other auctions) This is Lot B- It has large E in LEVI on the red tag written on both sides although the back of the tag is faded. It has white selvedge, no red or blue lines. There are approximately 6 or 7 stitches per inch on the stitching. The back of the top button has the letter E stamped on it. The rivets are copper and have L. They have hidden bar tacks. The leather patch is missing and appears to have been gone for sometime. There is no care tag. The inseam has single stitching. They are in used/ worn condition. (See photos) My measurements are: waist 31″, inseam 33″, waist to hem is 43. Items presented are from estate sales, auctions, etc. I cannot say they are from smoke/pet free environments.
