Vintage brown sheepskin flying jacket XL. Hi there, feast your eyes on this fantastic vintage sheepskin shearling leather flying jacket. It comes in generally good vintage condition with years of wear left in the tank….. This quality classic comes with thick luxurious lining. The outer leather has a rugged appearence and displays distress, creasing, knicks, rubbing to the leather in areas. The pictures of the lining illustrate the yellowing of the wool on collar and more predominently the cuffs where the previous owner had folded them over to suit the length of their arm. There is a little zip pocket on the inside of the jacket attached to the outside of the main pocket lining (bit confusing but hopefully you get my drift), the zipper has broken on this so it does not zip (no big deal), you can just use one of the two main pockets. There is a small area to the lining not too far from the right armhole where there is a bare bit of leather and no wool. This is not a big issue and I just want to be completely honest. The quality of the neck strap and waist adjuster straps does not match the rest of the jacket. They are not made from leather and if honest I dont expect them to last as long as the jacket itself. One of the neck straps has been removed and stitch holes remain in this location. Regarding the waist adjuster straps… The eyelets have come out of the holes that the buckles are in for the pictures, you dont notice this in the pictures but the holes have stretched and ripped open bigger. It appears upon closer inspection there is also some restitching to the faux leather holding one of the waist adjuster buckles in place its not noticeable when wearing and had I not mentioned it you may never had noticed it. Please dont be put off by the man made neck buckle and waist adjuster buckles because the jacket itself is quality. The pictures say it all….
