They were one of the few companies procured by the USN and USAF to make the iconic G-1 jackets we know and love today. Fits a size Large. Contract number DA-36-243-QM(CTM)2134. The jacket is in excellent condition despite being nearly 73 years old! Goatskin leather is really excellent, with a couple of distressing spots but you can hardly tell. It’s still soft and perfectly wearable. Mouton collar is a nice rusty chocolate brown, immaculate condition and super fluffy. Knits are in very good condition for its age, no moth holes. Lining is in perfect condition. From what I heard, it’s the same jackets as worn by president John Kennedy. And for those Top Gun fans, this is hard to miss. The 7823 AER contract is regarded to be one of the nicest and most collectable ones out there. To find it in this condition is hard to beat.
